The Life of Samuel
Text:
I Samuel 15:10-35
Samuel confronts Saul for his disobedience.
Saul's failure to fully obey the command of God was entirely in keeping with his character and principles; he had done as much before. This time, though, God was finished with Saul. Samuel came to confront him one last time, and as he did, a standoff developed between the two men. In the confrontation we see the devices by which sinners justify sin, as well as the manner in which a godly minister must contend with wickedness.
