Samuel's First Meeting with Saul
Samuel had ruled Israel for years, and he certainly did not want to see it suffer under a tyrannical king. However, God ordered him to call Saul, to honor him as king, and to begin to proclaim the word to him. Samuel demonstrated true faith in God by obeying the difficult commands.
