1 Timothy 6:1-2
Paul's instructions to Christian slaves.
One of the great social evils which the ancient church faced was slavery. Paul's instructions to Christian slaves show what our fist priorities must be: the glory of God, the cause of the gospel, and the fellowship of the saints. If these our our priorities, the church will preach the gospel rather than embark on social crusades.
