Hebrews 11:1-3
Consequences of Misreading Genesis 1-3
The writer to the Hebrews tells us that it is by faith that we know of the origins of the world. This is consistent with the limitations of science - the only way we could possibly understand our origins is for God to divinely reveal them to us. When we reject God's narrative of creation, we necessarily call into question much more: the nature of man and woman, the law of God, and the whole story of sin and redemption. The consequences of misreading these chapters of the Bible are many and are significant.
