Romans 5:12-21
The Imputation of Adam's Sin
The story of the fall of Adam is well known but little understood. In Romans 5 the Apostle Paul explains for us the significance of Adam's fall. He was a representative for all his race, which means that the guilt of what he did has been credited to every one of his descendents. As terrifying as this truth is, it is the same just system by which God applies the righteousness of Christ to those who trust in Him.
