The Creation of the Woman and Marriage

After the constant refrain of Genesis 1, that all God's creation was good, we come to the striking comment in chapter 2 that something was not good. Adam was incomplete on his own. The creation of Eve demonstrates to us the tremendous value and spiritual significance of women, while at the same time showing the distinct gender roles which God intended.
